No Need To Rush! We Are Going To Make Your Wedding Timeline Work

April 9, 2024

WHEW talk about a speedrun. I hope you all have your gym shoes on for this one! The day started with getting ready photos at the hotel as usual. Typically, I spend anywhere from 30-60 minutes doing getting ready candids for each side of the wedding party so that I can really play with lighting and interesting angles to heighten the visual story, but this time, I had work my magic in 15 minutes. No biggie! Everyone was already in a super happy mood and ready to roll when I first walked through the door, so all I had to do was start pressing the shutter and I got everything I needed. After popping in to both the bride’s & groom’s suites, we then had five minutes to get the happy couple in place for the first look & let them have their moment. Once happy tears were wiped away and sweet sentiments were shared, we were ready for the next phase. Within the next 20 minutes we had to get the entire wedding party collected downstairs and finished with group photos because they had to be in the venue & hidden away before guests started arriving for the ceremony. Uh oh! The boys forgot to put their boutonnières on and left them upstairs! 😂 After multiple groomsmen took a midday joyride on the elevator and successfully got their jackets adorned, we had about ten minutes left to- TEN MINUTES LEFT?! GO GO GO! I’ve never seen so many well dressed people lock-in so quickly in my life. Group photos were an absolute breeze, and we collectively strolled into that venue at 4:00 on the dot.

It is smooth sailing from here on out! A stunning ceremony, a swanky cocktail hour, a dinner serenaded by violin, and a poppin’ dancefloor were my photographic treat at the end of the day, and I loved every second. Aside from making sure everything stayed on time, one of my top priorities is always making sure that the wedding is still magical for everyone, and that no one feels like it was rushed. It is so important to me that the couple & their loved ones are enjoying every moment! Looking back at these photos, you can see just how much everyone was beaming throughout the whole day. A huge part of that is also due to this couple being so incredibly sweet and easygoing. I didn’t sense an ounce of stress in either one of them, they were just ready to tie the knot and dance the night away. It just goes to show that walking into your wedding day with a good attitude is one of the greatest gifts you can give to yourself and those celebrating with you!
