Pleasure to meet you! I am the proud owner of this super small, one woman business. It all started when my mom let me play with the tiny camera she kept in her purse when I was 13, and now I get to wake up everyday and create artwork that makes my clients and I endlessly happy.
Even though I have a distinctly vibrant, moody, and cinematic style, each one of my sessions is totally unique to honor what makes each person, family, and event truly special. Photographs should tell a story, and my goal is to create images that tell your beautiful story in wildly vivid detail. Not only should you be able look back on your photos and magically be transported in time to feel exactly how you felt in that moment, but so should anyone you gleefully show your memories to.
I’ve spent well over a decade passionately studying photography, color, lighting, composition, and the skills one must fully harness in order to craft great images consistently, but another one of my passions is simply, people. A massive aspect of what I do is getting to know people and spend time with them during deeply personal moments. It can be tremendously nerve-racking to stand in front of a stranger with a camera, let alone allow yourself be vulnerable. That is why I strive to create a comfortable environment full of joy so that personalities can genuinely shine through.
The more fun you have, the better images we get! Of course, we will get a handful of the standard “smile & look at the camera” photos, and I am more than happy to throw poses or prompts your way if you’d like some guidance, but just wait until you see the magic of the candid moments you had naturally caught on camera. THAT is where you will see your story and your soul truly bursting out of the frame.
